To call this a build thread would be a stretch, as I found this near perfect P-23 in a local ad. The bike was really only ever used on motorhome 'camping trips. The only damage it has are some paint scrapes from being hauled around on a bike rack. It has never been ridden off road, unless the odd gravel path counts. Stored inside the garage all these years, the deep Ritchey red appears as vibrant as it was 26 years ago. All I have done is replace the suspension stem (Ritchey Force), the saddle (Ritchey Logic) and the tires (Ritchey Megabites), to get it back to original stock. Too small for me, but that didn't stop me for taking it out for a little rip yesterday, oh how I wish it fit me! What a zippy frame, great acceleration and a lively feel. This purebred has never been given an opportunity to race, a little sad. But you'd be hard pressed to see one in better condition.
