I lost the last post... But now it's completely different. Used to have one of these when they came out and it got stolen :( Now I have another one. Just about done, spent a bit of time on it this afternoon. Found out my M900 front de is a bit bent so going to try and straighten it... apart from that the only thing that needs doing is getting the rear wheel dished slightly as these frames require it... Oh and try and get a 1 1/8 threaded steerer for my Mag 21's and i'll be done :D Can't wait to get out on it! At the moment the some of the parts like the seat and post are just a temp measure till I get more funds for the other parts. Oh and if anyone has some M900 XTR brake/shifter's they want to part with cheap drop me a line! Only XTR part I'm missing to complete that side of things.

Frame: 1991 Avanti Revolution
Fork: Soon to be Mag 21's
Stem: Velocity
Handlebar: Sake Power Bulge for now
Grips: Yeti Foam grips when I get the new bars
Brakes: M900 XTR
Brake Pads: Cool Stop
Brake Levers/Shifters: XT brake/shifter combo's
Front Derailleur: M900 XTR
Rear Derailleur: M900 XTR
Cassette: SRAM
Chain: SRAM
Cranks: M900 XTR
Chainrings: M900 XTR small and outter and Onza buzzsaw middle
Rims: NOS Alex deep dish
Hubs: M900 XTR
Tyres: Panaracer Darts front and back
Saddle: Soon to be Flite Ti classic
Seatpost: Kalloy at the moment but going to get a Thomson

nice E-stay dude

That frameset looks very cool..i like it

Yeah I fell in love the first time I laid eyes on one back in the day and was so cut up when my first one got stolen.... glad I have another one though!

I had a good, hard think about bidding on that bike (if it's the one that was on TradeMe) but the logistics of getting it to Australia were off-putting. I'm glad to see it's being well treated.

If you get really stuck for a pair of M900 STI's let me know. I have a couple of spare sets but they won't go cheap!

Hasn't been on trademe that I know of...
I actually have another frame and fork sitting at home... not to sure what to do with it... Have a lx/xt groupo sitting at home that I might throw on it minus the wheels...
Let me know how much you want for the shifters, there were some on trademe recently that I missed out on! So gutted, but they went a bit higher then I was willing to pay, but they came with a rear de as well whick I wasn't interested in..

I'm also on the lookout for a top pull m900 front de either 31.8 or larger since the one I have is beyond repair I think.

I've just picked up an estay from the local tip, no stickers at all and in primer though. Seems to be pretty similar to yours with a mono stay and top run cables.

The bottle cage bolts are in a different place. Does the single tube of the mono stay go past where it splits? (Does this make sense). The seat tube on mine seems to take a big post (Over 30 I think) what size is yours?

Cheers

Hi there,

Seatpost is 29.4, you'll know straight away if it's a revo. Put a back wheel in the frame, all the revo frames were offset which ment that a normal back wheel didn't sit straight in the frame.

I'll put some more picks up tonight for you :D

ok mine does not seem to be a revolution. No offset with a normal wheel in that I can see. I also spotted that your chain stay splits after the seat tube whereas mine splits and is welded before.

Serial is on one of the stays. Once I get a new phone or find my camera battery charger I will get some pics up.

I do like your revolution!
