1991 Mountain Goat - Escape Goat project

I think it matches the white decal & black paint perfectly😎
It absolutely does match the decals and paint, but the saddle itself doesn't match the rest of the bike.
I see it as like bolting a massive carbon fibre wing to the back of a pristine Jaguar E-Type...but each to their own I say.
How about a Turbo bio in the same colour?

I like it, but saying the difference between that turbo and the charge is the same as a massive carbon fiber wing on a E-type is massive hyperbole. 😉. Still appreciate your kind words and opinion though. I am just not a stickler for time period originality when it comes to saddles, tires, grips or pedals. It's just not my thing. I put quite a few road/bike path/grass/gravel miles on my vintage mtbs and enjoy the benefits of some modern bits.

I am with you: body parts that make bike contact should be free to chose whatever pleases them.

Fab looking bike. The understated black and silver components really let the frame stand out. Lovely.
Not wild about the saddle tbh but it's not my arse sat on it. Sadly.
