I had to get some parts on it to tease myself. Long way to the finish line yet.

Such a beautiful frame. The entire bike has great lines and the complete components build when released was top knotch, what really made me drool over these ads back in the day was that amazing paint job. One of the best IMO from this era. Enjoy this beauty!

Follow my method: build the bike today w/ whatever parts you have at hand. If it fits like a glove and rides like a dream search the universe for the golden parts to make it the beautifull unicorn in your heart; as you keep riding it. In the end it´s about riding these things.

I´ve done that with my 95 Storm; frame/fork/headset was a present from a good friend and most of the items are from the parts bin; i´ve just only bought the stem & shifters.

My plan is to find a proper Ritchey saddle/seatpost & swap the 739 shifters for thumbies + SS7´s

Yes a few Rocky Mountains as well but what I am mainly after are the

Ritchey Logic crankset, brake levers, cantis and headset. Would love black chainrings but we'll see what comes available. There is an Ultra with all the wanted items on it but at $1200 cad dollars it's exceed my budget plus a couple hundred more to get it here :-(

Have you ever considered 987´s; I think they look great (greater than Ritchey´s IMHO)

Whatever option considered would fit in that fantastic frame.

I notice you have the second gen Ritchey True Grips, do you like? Was looking at those for this build but the Race Face Good n Evil are to good not to use, so cool old school.

So the bike came as a frame, two wheels and a box of parts. I’ve managed to find a bit of time to clean them somewhat and assemble the bike in a temporary fashion to see what it looked like built up. My first thoughts were how nice the V Brakes look and function. Titanium seat, seat post and brakes post bolts are a nice bonus. Front tire was torn on the sidewall and has been trashed. The bad, that fork! Looks horrible on this bike as some had suggested it might. Needless to say the finished product likely won’t resemble what’s here now but nice to see regardless.

First I would exgange the handlebar to a flat one and than the fork and than I would be done....
the rest is just fine for my opinion thumb shifter as a further exchange or grip shift 500/600.
Okay than done 🧐

Let's see how you end up
