1991 KONA FIRE MOUNTAIN FANTASTIC ORIGINAL CONDITION

Retro Newbie
Hi. I'm looking to sell my well cared for, but little used 1991 Kona Fire Mountain. It comes out of the garage every summer to have the cobwebs wiped off and everything oiled that might need oiling. It's all completely original, (even the tyres)! apart from the end bars, (handlebars were cut down to fit these). I'm not sure what it might be worth so I'm open to fair offers as someone will need to collect it. It's been suggested I might do better selling bits and pieces off it and maybe I would. I'd like to see the bike go somewhere complete, (you could strip it and not tell me! 😄)! I would very much appreciate any offers/advice/ thoughts?

Many thanks in advance, Dom. 20240906_145500.jpg 20240906_145513.jpg 20240906_145528.jpg 20240906_145544.jpg 20240906_145621.jpg 20240906_145621.jpg 20240906_145733.jpg 20240906_145703.jpg 20240906_145652.jpg

An original survivor. A firm salute!

As you hint, it won't fetch a high value but with some extra TLC including new spokes, it'll ride well.

Sold as a full bike anything 80 - 150 gbp, splitting isn't really worth it because of the low value of the components although the tyres usually generate interest.

Thank you for the information. I was hoping to get a £100 for it, but obviously need someone to be interested who doesn't live too far away, (I live in Malvern Worcestershire which I know is a popular destination for mountain bikers). Yes it does need new spokes! 😄

Regards, Dom.

That looks great. There can't be many with paint and decals looking as good and original as that! Would be a bargain at £100.
