Having hoped to snag a pair of 1" Grand Prix from Condor it turns out they've only 1 in stock, and no idea if or when they'll have any more in. Small sob. There are plenty of 1 1/8" tyres about, but was hoping for 1" - a size that seems to be very thin on the ground.
The week before last on Ebay I spied a pair of new in their tattered boxes 1" x 559 Grand Prix tyres - for £15. Buy buy buy! They're still nice and supple - excellent - and saved myself £45 too.
Making reference to the Vittorias above I thought I'd have to cut them off but they actually came off with a certain level of ease - I guess they've been stretched a little and so will make an appearance on the Cannondale BOTE
