1991 Kona Cinder Cone frameset 17"

Great frameset in the iconic greeney-gold with ovalised seat tube. In good condition considering age, no bangs or dents, just a few scratches consistent with medium to light use. Decals are all there, but showing some signs of wear. Comes with the all-important cable guide and 'dog collar', Project 2 fork, Velocity stem, Joe Murray O-Beam seatpost and brand new Ritchey Logic headset. The qr seat clamp bolt included is a nothing special, but fits.

I had this built this up as a winter commuter for my wife, but due to the mild winter she carried on using her road bike. I've since cannibalised the build for parts for my other Kona, so this frameset is now ready for someone else's retro-build.

Kona measure their frames from centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube (17").

Apologies the photos aren't great, I can provide better ones/close ups of any areas to anyone interested.

Looking for £70 collected (I'm in Bristol) or £80 posted to UK.

Re:

Hi,

Are the threads all ok on the frame, bottom bracket etc?

Do you have any close up shots of the bottom bracket, head tube and drop outs please?

Hi,

Thanks for your interest. The threads, drop outs etc are all fine, I'll get some close-up photos up for you later. The new UN-55 I had installed in there only last year removed easily enough. If it sweetens the deal at all I can throw in the afore-mentioned bottom bracket, and a DX front mech to fit. I've also fished out a period-correct but in need of attention Kona Titanium saddle if that's of any use.

Thanks again!

Re:

Hi,

Thanks for the extra pics. I've managed to find something else so unfortunately I'm going to have to pass.

It would make a great ride for somebody though!

I think the colour is 'cinder gold'. Extremely difficult to match. That's a great frame at a bargain price.
