got one of these frames from the local tip in about 92. one of my first "proper" mtb's. built it up and loved it. it was my first bike to be stolen too. i felt a little bit proud to at last have a steelable bike! never knew what it was until now!!! cheers!

I believe this is a 1991 Model Tufftrax Competiton. I had the same - stolen whilst on my paper round in 1992.... Looked very modern at the time as it had a sloping top tube like a Kona.
