1991 Gt Karakoram elite - finished

Now I'm sure you all get it in the ear about how many bikes in the shed an'all that so I have decided to not tell the missus about this one and start building it up ..................... At Work

I'll just have to play the 'Ive had this for ages, dont you remember' card when she does see it. (she does it with shoes)

Just a rolling chassis at the mo but hoping to re-create the first proper mountain bike I Had , that sadly got stolen from work in 1992........ So I guess they owe me

So bits of DX, magura, Ritchey and some nice tioga biogrips will be hanging off this soon

How did the Elite differ from the normal Karakoram? Was it a better quality tubeset or just better componnets?

Yup, 1991

Elite had DX group as opposed to the karakoram that had LX
