Just back from picking up this Diamondback Ascent, which I think may be a 1991 model?
18" True Temper AVR double butted main tubes, and a pretty funky white/black splatter paint job.
It's in fairly good condition and looks to be all original, Exage 400LX groupset, Avenir saddle, Araya Rims & Tioga Wonder Dawg tyres.
The only negatives I've found so far is that the rear tyre is pretty perished on the sidewall so probably unusable, and the gear cables are rusty (still shifting ok though), so I'll be replacing those anyway.
I've given it a wash this morning & will set about the frame with a bit of T-Cut & some polish at some point later today.

Looks like I spoke too soon, just tried raising the saddle & as I was pulling & twisting it came off in my hands! Eh?
