I had an EX in the same colourway and that was an 89.

They used the same smoke paintjob in 89 and 90 I think. I have a 90 Apex in the same blue smoke finish. I could be wrong but I think the easy way to tell the year is the 89's had straight forks and in 90 they were curved.
