After having a few over the years, there's definately been a Cannondale shaped hole in the collection so when I saw @Freddyman90's SE1000 for sale (https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/1991-cannondale-se1000.449368/) I knew I had to have it.
He was kind enough to drop it off too!
So first things first, although it was in nice condition it needed a full strip down and service.
The SE's are so easy to work on and it was quickly in parts.
I did suspect the 17" frame might be a little small for me and in the current set up the short stem didn't really work. Luckly I have a few spare parts in the garage so it wasn't too much hassle to swap a couple of bits over.
