With my Cannondale SE 2000 and my OffRoad Proflex 950, I actually own the three first rear suspension bikes of the French market. It was the beginning of 1991 and I dreamed in the magazines which tested those revolutionary bikes.
I have rode the 3 bikes. I know that the Boulder was a step better but in 2016, the Boulder Defiant Ti was a bit more modern. So the comparison was not totally equal.

The Gazelle is a 2th generation with the bridge tube between diagonal tube and seat tube. Works Performance shocker with coil spring (same brand as the Cannondale’s) and original RS1 front. The suspensions were restored by MojoTi. Parts come from à Trek8900 project I decided to stop : Suntour XC Pro groupo with Sugino Crankset, Grafton brakes and nice bullseyes/matrix wheels (more classics wheels for riding )
