It's not the same frame as my Alan.Yours have straight fork and rear seatstays vs.bent in mine.But is yours Alan made ? I really don't know.French brand Vitus made also similar type frames at that time period.

You're right. There are subtle differences that suggest they have not come from the same source. IMHO they are two of the most stunning looking bikes ever made (although mine's a touch leggy at 22.5"). I wish I could keep mine looking as immaculate as yours but for me riding it is equally as enjoyable as looking at it.

What size seatpost does your bike have ? According to the Alan brochure from Fabio Farelli's site it appears that the specs have changed over the production years.So yours might well be made by Alan after all.
