Nope, been riding orange and black since 1993, but that one had a 750cc engine and featured in AWOL magazine.

Just looked it up, Vol 2, No.3 1300cc's of Triumph's.

Mine was the centre spread.... phnar!

I haven't got to my midlife crisis yet... either that or my whole life is one.

I did a lot of custom bike and engine building back then, and would again now if the parts were not so expensive... bicycles is cheap, old bicycles is cheaper still.
