Old School Grand Master
I've now (virtually) completed the build as I want it - well enough to be able to ride it anyway - so here it is for you all to see. First impressions are that it rides OK but I've only been round the estate on it so far. I might ride it on Sunday in a 25 mile time trial but I'm leaving my options open on that.

Frame and Fork: Reynolds 653 tubing, 22" c-2-t size.
Headset: OMAS Big Sliding
Stem: 3TTT steel Pro Chrome 12cm
Handlebar: Mavic with Profile tri-bars
Bar Tape: Silva cork ribbon
Brake Levers/Brifters: Dia Compe Aero, Ame hoods
Brake Calipers: Front Dia Compe Aero, rear Campagnolo Mirage
Shifters: Currently Shimano DT levers
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo (model??)
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo (Chorus?)
Block: 7 speed maillard 12-18
Chain: KMC ((9 speed!)
Cranks: Campagnolo Chorus (I think!) 175mm

I would like the gear levers on the tri-bars if I can get hold of the correct fitting and also a larger inner chainring around 48/49 tooth. I've advertised in 'Road Wanted' but nothing definite yet!
The rear brake caliper is a Campagnolo one owing to the relative positions of the cable entry into the Dia Compe Aero caliper design and the top tube cable stop. There is to acute an angle on the resulting cable run for the DC one to work efficiently but I think the Campag one looks OK.
