1990 Saracen Eiger
As some of you may already know, the Saracen Eiger was exclusively offered by Halfords during a long period of association with the Saracen brand.
The Eiger range had a few variations each year it was offered. For example in 1990 there was the Eiger, the Eiger Cross, Eiger Competition and Eiger Team. Each bike had a different frame and component mix. They more or less replicated the bikes in the Saracen range but as the 'exclusive' to Halfords Eiger model.
This Eiger is basically the same as the Tufftrax from the same year, only it's blue rather than pink. This is either a 1990 or possibly a 1989 model. I was never 100% sure...
I did have it built up for road and light trails use during the winter.
Here are a few pictures I took of it shortly before it was taken apart and the frame moved on to DICKO10.

I found these photos on my computer that were taken in February 2013, not long after I'd built it up.
