Purchased new in 1990 (we have the original receipt for £670) and not ridden for 17 years. It has been stored in a humidity controlled garage for the last 8 years.
The bike is as supplied new to original specification and even has a Kellogg's Tour water bottle! The frame is Reynolds 2070 tubeset and all running gear is Shimano 600. Rims are SHP600 Rigida with Shimano hubs.
It is in really excellent condition for the year. It does, of course, need replacement of the original tyres!
Other items is there is a scuff on the back edge of the saddle and some minor scuffs on the peddles. This was my son's bike and he said that apart from a check over, new tyres and tubes, plus a crank hub service he thought this bike should ride as new.
