Yes, the brake pads need setting correctly, but what's wrong with the cabling? It all works fine.

Beautiful job mate, incredible finish. Do you mind me asking a ball park figure on how much the restoration ended up costing? You seemed to have been able to salvage a lot yourself.

I didn't really keep tabs on what I was spending, but I reckon the entire project probably set me back around £500… Not much less than the bike cost me back in 1990!

Cheers! I haven't touched the bike since it was finished. It's been locked away in the garage out of harm's way.
Very tempted to sell it, although I doubt I'd get what I put into it.
