A 1990 Euro spec Eldridge Grade in super bright fluro yellow with pink splatters. Now SOLD, ta!
LX everywhere apart from the shifters which are DX and Wolber rims. The brake cables were swapped to UK style as soon as i got her and the front brake pads changed to Aztec ones (mean the bike can actually stop now). The saddle is long gone as it was knackered (the 40R shown is not included), so too were the pedals - so it comes with neither. The rest is as per the catalogue.
The overall condition is pretty amazing really after all the Zolatone disasters i've seen. There is a small amount of decal damage on one side and a tiny dent on the other side of the down tube that i only noticed when i took these pictures. If i'm being picky i think the top of the stem is a tiny bit faded but you can hardly tell in some lights. The rest is just marks from usage and having fun, check the numerous photos...
She has been an absolute blast and probably my most checkable, fun, go to old bike. Last summer i did a couple of loops of Gisburn with Roly on his modern bike and it was hilarious fun.
It's just at 5' 11" i could do with another inch in the frame or a longer pin, but this is the original one and nearly impossible to replace.
17" c to top
15.5" c to c
22" top tube
