Right ... had lots of interest in the bike but for the frame only. So I have broken it down and it's now staring at me from the wall of the workshop rather than muttering under dustsheets at the very back, behind the tyre stack.
And I did a the proper research on the frame for provenance, emailing the Litespeed serial number service (15usd well spent) which confirmed the frame as theirs, built for Marin in July 1990. Very low numbers built. Definitely a unicorn, especially in this size. Loooong top tube.
Bought by me in 1992 as a frame from a Marin team rider and made up into a race bike, stopped using it in 1995 and it has been in store since then. No scratches, no chainsuck, no cracks, no dents. Perfect in fact.
Duncan M recommended over 1000 gbp since this was one of a very small number made - he estimated 35 or so, of which only three others are still known about - one on here and one in Switzerland, the other in Canada.

I have had some tyre-kickers and people who Dibs it and then go silent; oh well. 850 gbp including packing and posting within mainland. Given that Stantons are now 2000, and Kinesis 2200-plus, I reckon that's about a reasonable stab at price. But tell me otherwise...
PM me if you are interested. Thanks.
