From eBay in France. The funny thing was I couldn’t find a set with a sensible width so settled for a set advertised as 44cm. When they arrived they were 40cm, perfect!

Stupidly I let a NOS, boxed set go because I thought they were too pricy at $100, stupid, stupid.

This is stunning, great job! One of my all time favourite pro bikes, it's just "the" bike from the early 90's that everyone recognises. The previous team Z purple and pink peugeots are also very high up on the list!

I picked up a pair of Specialized drop in bars, they look pretty identical to the Scott's, except for the decals on the bottom of the drops. Question? Are they decals, or paint or maybe anodised?

It’s paint. Dark metallic grey paint. And it chips easily too…

I kinda thought as much! I'm thinking of getting a vinyl wrap with the same logo on it. Vinyl guy round our way does a good job for reasonable money

If you mean the Scott decals then I probably have a couple spare. You’d have to wait a week or two as I am on holiday at the moment. Drop me a mail if that’s what your after and I’ll post them out
