Just a little note, I think I am right in saying if I remember correctly, per catalogue spec, the front brake should be XT, I only brought it up as you have mentioned specs.

I put XT 732 on both. I know it should be Diacompe in back, but I liked how they looked. Also, I wasn't trying to do a catalog build.

Catalogue specs are great, but collect redundant parts; otherwise there's the risk of not riding the bike enough.

Or, take photos and substitute certain parts for riding.

Either way we want the bike to catalogue spec for RP Klein frenzy day..
