Dyna-Tech frame and forks.

This frame was purchased by accident whilst I was looking for some Suntour parts for my Kona Cindercone in the for sale area.

The rear end is 130mm and due to having a nos XTm730 hub set with a rear axle of 130mm, the decision was then made to go XT-II with the build. I had most of the parts already so it was just a matter of cables and adding rims and spokes to the hubs. The hubs also had the UG body swapped with a 7-speed HG one. I went for a black stem to go with the seatr post and also to contrast with the bars. I think the black parts also bring out the black decals on the frame.

Ive just purchased my 1st mtb build which is a Dyna Tech Encounter 2060 frame and forks in pretty much awesome condition.

Ive just put some crappy parts on it off a 90's claud butler as i was dying to ride it but they had to come off (it wasnt enjoyable!). Im in need of a rear mech, chainset and cranks and some shifters & then some decent wheels eventually. The bottom bracket is not running 100% smooth so that will need changing aswell but im unsure of what size to get.

Anyway i look forward to getting loads of info from this forum.

Welcome aboard, and nice choice for your build, your bottom bracket size will depend on the chainset you end up using
