Update: new stem, XT pedals and nicer Flite saddle.

The big one for me though is the 1st gen Ibis Ti stem. One of the most beautiful stems ever made IMHO. Yes, no cable management but oh well, the Bianchi already has a hanger.

I still have the June 92' issue of Bicycle Guide that showed the Ti stem in their "What's Hot" section. Lot's of drooling took place back then over this stem. The fact that Ibis chose all 6/4 Ti and did all their own welding/polishing is very cool. I paid a bit for it last week but nowhere near the $235US asking price back in 92'

I love Syncros cattleprod stems but this much slimmer Ti stem suits the build much better (I think)

Agreed, it's a thing of beauty. I don't really go for stems without cable routing, but might make an exception for one of those

Those last few additions have really helped finish this Bianchi off. The stem works so much better with the svelte steel tubing of the frame. Very nice and looks "just right" from a length & rise POV.

Love the Bianchi USA range for 89-92. Cool names, great color combos and nice riding steel bikes.
