1990/91? Raleigh Blueridge 531

deliquium

This was donated by 'widomaker' of this parish - what a gift and MUCH appreciated - loads good vibes still coming your way down south :D

Don't look if easily offended by totally non period rejuvenations

Frame and forks back from the powder coater. Waiting for delivery of a silver rear pannier rack - the black one I got doesn't 'look right' Then I can finish it off with the rear dynamo (SP front hub operated) lamp and its wiring.

Teaser pic posted

Plenty more sad bloke snaps his bike *HERE*

Thanks again 'widowmaker' :D

 Silver frame, Reynolds tubing, Red cables And that Gorgeous Brooks imperial with red lace, god that is one good looking bike  .

Thanks MADB and retroyetiguy

I'm well pleased with it - though might change the bars for Velo Orange 'Porteurs' and a Nitto Technomic 130mm stem?

Great job and some lovely parts

Was it easy to find a bottom bracket for that chainset?

I hear you on the bars and stem, I think the current set up makes the bike look a little old manish

The right set up and this baby will be rock star cool

Had the early 90s Campag Centaur chainset since new (have 3 still :D ) with 2 of their original bottom brackets ✔

I love upturned North Road bars AND I am an old man - but I have VO Porteur bars on 2 other bikes (flipped and correct way up) and think they might suit this better? Certainly got to get rid of the 3TTT stem with its black plastic cap - Nitto 130mm is the way to go methinks.
