Re:

Can anybody advise me what kind of thread does tvt 92 frameset have? Since it is made in France, was it produced only with french threads of bb and fork?

thanks a lot

When the TVT92 issued by French company TVT they have mostly French BB in the beginning

But most of the TVT92 HM, HR or simple Carbone on the market were from 1989 to 1991. In the meantime I personally have five frame sets of them - four of them are with BSA threading at BB (2x Campagnolo, Suntour & MAVIC), and only one (Shimano) of them is ITA.
But I know there are French BBs too, but I never seen one and they will be very rare. The forks and headset all have normal the classic BSA threading.

Is it the case that TVT frames came with the bottom bracket shell chamfered to facilitate the use of a Mavic bottom bracket?

I don't think so that it made by TVT - French Treading was 35x1 mm or 1.378x25.4 tpi - chamfered BB Shell had been done afterwards individually. You need special MAVIC tool or similar to chamfer BB shell.

Mavic BB do not need any threading, it clamps BB Shell between only - you can use it with all kind of threading and damaged threading if you chamfered the Shell before. I have a Gitane labeled TVT92, which has been equipped with a MAVIC BB - it has a BSA threading originally.

Re:

Thank you for clarifying that Sir. I have a Concorde branded TVT frame with Italian bb threads and also a chamfer to accept a Mavic bb. It was obviously cut retrospectively.
Thanks J
