This is a collector grade 1989 Greg Lemond TVT 92 Carbone replica bike (number 18 of 300). Greg won the World Road Race Championship in Chambery France in '89 riding his Lemond/TVT bike. To commemorate the victory, Lemond Bikes made a limited run of 300 official ADR/Lemond world champ winning replica's. This one is number 018 of 300 and personally signed by Lemond himself. Ten Speed Drive Imports Inc. imported all of these bikes and there aren't many left out there in this condition.
The bike is essentially all original, as delivered by TSD and Lemond. It has a full Mavic SSC gruppo, including the Starfish crankset. All parts are nearly mint. The original Cinelli stem is included, but a Salsa zero degree stem was installed a while back and comes on the bike. Additionally, the original Simplex/Mavic down tube shifters were swapped for some Suntour Barcon indexed shifters due to riding preferences. I no longer have the Simplex shifters, but they can be had quite easily. Little if any scratches to the paint. The carbon main tubes are in great condition as are all the decals. TVT is stamped into the chainstays and the BB shell.
The bike was rarely ridden, as evidenced by the pics (250 miles total). The original tires are still present and in good shape and an extra tubular comes with the bike.
