1989 Raleigh Quadra Series II - 62cm - 531 and 105 group

Lovely Raleigh Lightweight bike. Reynolds 531 main frame and forks and 105 group-set and wheels. This is the largest 62cm frame and 'though I am 6' tall and can just about stand over it it it a little to close to me hence the sale.

More or less original in good condition. I think probably only tyres different (Schwalbe Lugano ) and missing bottles. A few tiny rust marks but nothing too bad. Saddle a little tatty and if I were keeping I would replace tape and hoods.

This comes with original manual and brochure as photographed.

Looking for £180 collected from Reading. (Can meet at the station if need be to aid collection.)

Sorry to be picky but the main frame and forks are 531 but not the rear triangle. At the time 531C and 531ST denoted the full set of tubes.
Nevertheless, it's Raleigh pedigree. GLWS

Thanks - corrected.

I was a little confused by the brochure as for the Elix, Delta and Strada it says "531 butted main tubes" and for the Quadra it just says "531 butted frame tubes". However, in the summary tables at the back all four say "3 tubes 531 butted" so you're right.

I have the triathlon which is 531 only problem I have
The brakes are nut fitting. frame forks aren't drilled
For Allen keys. So struggling to find powerful enough brakes to fit
Mines 87 though so maybe different
If I was nearer to you I'd deffo be interested
