Ok, about to get this rebuild on track. The original owner kindly dug out some photos from when the bike was brand spanking new in 1989, freshly picked up from Overbury’s in Bristol.

Good old XT in the black variety is the plan. Just need to check my stock.

The original owner also kept all the paperwork with the bike. This is his sketch which was presented to Overbury’s for the paint job.



The original receipt has also survived. This is the only Pioneer I can recall seeing with Tange Prestige tubing for both the frame and fork. Anyone else seen another out of interest?
