1989 NOS Sachs Rival ATB transmission

I have an old 95 Scott Expression MTB needing a new chain and rear mech. I came across this on ebay for £20 plus postage and thought 'why not?'. However, now it is here i'm really not sure I should break it up.... Even came with cables and fitting instructions
