Thats the weight for the exage version. The columbus or with XT groupset is probably lighter.

Hi,
Just came across the thread as I was looking for info before I sell my bike
I bought it new in 1989, just as the brochure shows. Used it to commute for a few years but never got around to trying it off-road
A couple of years ago I decided to give it a make over from the fluoro colour scheme (wish I hadn't now!) and get a refresh
It's now powder coated blue with white forks, stem and bars, new tyres, chain and cables
They didn't do a bad job but managed to lose the carrying strap and didn't do best job of choosing the bars, but hey ho!
Other than those bits it's got original gears, pedals, wheels, seat, brakes and bars
Just wondered what sort of price these are going for now if I can find a buyer
