1989 Koski Duratrac fork 1" steerer. SOLD

Ferghus

Retro Guru
SOLD to Haaland.

For sale, the infamous Koski Duratrac fork.

It is currently mounted on my 1989 Ritchey Super Comp (19") though I am going to switch it out for a Ritchey fork from an Ultra for aesthetics. The duratrac is a far superior handling fork.

details:

Very rare Koski fork with hooded drop outs.

This particular fork came off of an 1989 Bridgestone MB-1 (the Mb-2 of the same year also had one in white) and it is highly regarded as one of the best handling rigid forks.

The steerer is brazed at the crown to prevent cracking.

All you need to know is here:

https://mmbhof.org/the-koski-familys-cove-bike-shop/

STEERER IS 5 INCHES LONG ................ and this fork is in its original state.

MB-1 was a 46 cm . Might be a good fit on a ritchey also as they have short head tubes.

I rode this fork extensively before selling the MB-1 frame and am a believer in the handling /dampening characteristics - quite incredible .

Fork weighs about 850 grams - comparable to a triple butted Kona P2.

Asking $175 USD plus shipping from Vancouver, B.C. SOLD SOLD SOLD

Re: 1989 Koski Duratrac fork 1" steerer.

unfortunately they are way too short for me - measured my frame yesterday and need at least 175mm steerer (6,9")
