1989 Kona Fire Mountain

i got this of ebay for £60.00 the Lady I bought it from was the original owner it spent most of its time in a shed she said it has only done 300 miles if that.
The wheels and the tyres were shot tyres were full of water.
I striped it down I keep all the other parts all ok just a bit of cleaning etc.

The paint in particular looks very good, as I said already it looked better than mine and it really pops now. The pink in particular is very bright whereas mine was more pastel...

Good to see you've cracked the u-brake dilemma as well. It might pay to try and source some new brake blocks, as the brake arms will potentially come into contact with the tyre/rim if they are on the worn side. There's a few NOS ones on Ebay and some members on here also probably have some squirrelled away...

Some more side on shots would be great, if only to show off that curved fork
