1989 Kona Cinder Cone

You just need to make sure you have the right rear mech for the amount of gears at the back. It will be the rear hub which could reduced your options as I am not sure what fits what now. I got a new set of wheels with 9 gears at the back.

Nah the distance is the same between the rear drop outs just the hubs might be different but sont know

Will take offers too :D

I got a '90 splatter paint cindercone 19" in very very good condition :p , i won't ever sell it, bought it in '96 in original condition (when i was 16) but over the years things like the avocet seat got binned cos it went rock hard, and the original narrow wheel rims split at the join so i replaced them with 16 spoke wheels etc. Rides beautiful now BUT i so wish i hadn't thrown the original parts away  , anyway back to the reason i am posting, mine lives up in the loft  nothing wrong with that!

Not to be picky but wasn't the '89 fitted with a Mountain LX U-brake moving to Cantis on the '90?

Carl.

Yep, you're right Carl. Who ever told me a 1989 was wrong. should have checked so is a 1990
