Some of you may recall this was up for sale on FB marketplace recently. Different is probably a polite word to describe it. However it's pretty mint, I don't see its ever had much use so was certainly a good buy for the money. I've given it a bit of a clean up and fitted some period correct tyres and saddle. If that stem looks long that's because it is. 150mm is for kids, that's a man sized 170
. Normally when I pick up a bike the first thing I try is does the seat post move, which it does. However on closer inspection there seemed to be some kind of shim stuck in the frame. Turns out it's the carbon sleeve/wrap that was originally fitted over the ali post. I've got it to move a bit as it would be nice to get it out and reattach but I fear that's probably a lost cause. Still on the bright side when I give up on that idea 5 minutes with a screwdriver should have it out in pieces.
