Just found/rescued/ adopted what seems to be a completely original
1989 Diamondback Axis XT
its in great shape with
original factory components
A couple of nicks to the paint finish but what
would you expect on a 30 yearold bike that
is surprisingly complete
ive ordered a exact avenir seat
The seatpost is frozen or seized
I've been treating it with penetrating oil
to see if it will come out.
i need help in the size of this seatpost
is it a 29.6?
please advise

Throw some pictures up matey as soon as you can & let's have a look at her...
Seat post could be a bit tricky, hope you can free it off with penetrating oil, that really would be a bonus..
