This is what happens when NOS Colnago's 35th anniversary bike mates with NOS Campagnolo's 24K Gold 35th Anniversary Groupo.

The carbon monocoque frame and matching wheelset were developed by the team at Ferrari engineering. Ferrari began using carbon fiber in their Formula One chassis during the 80s, and collaborated with Colnago on the C35.

For the last 20 years this bike has been hanging from the rafters of Vecchio's bike shop here in Boulder, CO. We have been collecting a lot of retro MTB bikes lately and decided it was time to start adding some more flavor from the skinny tire side of the fence.

Auwtsch. I have respect for the rarity and 'story' of this bike, but damn this looks disgusting IMO! Mixing up 'Gold', 'Colnago' and 'Campagnolo' doesn't always ends up well :). For me, the other Colnago you posted some days ago is a billion times nicer, don't care if it's less valuable. Again, this is my opinion and I don't expect everyone to follow it ;)

Would fit nicely in here though:

Whats the point of rubbish like this? One for the shelf queens/fan boys or those who like hanging things on walls, give me an honest to goodness, hard working steel framed bike any day.

I absolutely agree it is about as tacky as it gets. It's cool for us to see bikes that we have never seen before. We hold onto the ones we fall in love with (our 72 colnago) and will pass this onto someone who has been looking for it for their collection. I thought it was rare enough you guys would like to see it.
