Well i've took a brave pill for my thinning down on the collection and the time has come to part ways with my 1988 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp.
Bar the ding ding in the non drive side toptube it's in lovely condition for being 34 years old. The white and purple pearl paint still looks brilliant after all these years and the decals are still in great condition,the bb threads are fine as is the mech hanger.
What you see is what you get, frame and forks with the original specialized headset,stem and bars and also the seatclamp quick release. There's also the Deore XT M731 U-Brake and a nice finishing touch a Specialized bottle cage.
Measurement wise i believe it be a 19.5" frame but i took some measurements so:
Top of BB to top of seat tube is 19.5".
Centre of BB to centre of toptube is 19.5"
And centre of BB to top of seat tube is 20.5"

Price wise £175 posted,PayPal friends and family.

Just remembered there's some GX26 rims to go with it aswell,i've got no use for them. Just got to find them from wherever i put them donkeys ago

Lovely frame, Apparently the 88 Rockhopper Comp is exactly the same frame just different colours, Difference being the Stumpjumper Comp was dripping with XT goodies, I have just finished building a 88 Rockhopper Comp and they are great riding bikes, GLWS.
