Pretty comfortable saddle too with those big old springs.

Was the 88 Trekker the green one with double U-brakes?

no worries, glad they are getting used. the 88 was the sky blue one with the double u brakes (with the chainstay mounted rear) and the 89/90 was the green one with double u brakes and deore ii.(also came in black and a rare silver with xt)
Both are class bikes.

Loving this,went into town this morning,and guess what was.the.first.bike locked up outside the supermarket?
Haven't seen one for years,then this,and one in the flesh,albeit with a basket and a pannier rack!!
