Hi All,
Having posted a thread a few weeks ago asking for valuations for my Ridgeback I’m placing it up for sale here before it goes on eBay in the hope it will find someone who appreciates it.
I’ve owned this bike from new since 1988 (still have the sales receipt). It has spent the bulk of its life gathering dust in the garage and has probably only covered a few hundred miles. Having a clear out after my father passed away recently and would love to see it go to someone who appreciates it. As you can see from the pictures it is in extremely good condition with virtually no corrosion, the worst being around where the handlebars are (see pics). The front wheel is in excellent condition and you can see from the photo how it polishes up, the rear wheel is very good but has a little corrosion in places. There are a number of chips on the paint here and there but in the main it’s very good. Brakes and gears all work as they should. I have purposely not “tarted” this up for sale as I want it’s genuine condition to be reflected.
The thread on here indicated its value as somewhere between £250 and £400 depending on market conditions. I do not wish to post it as at the moment as I simply don’t have the time to sort that out. So the first person to come to collect with £250 can take it away.
Please get in touch if you need any further details or more pictures.
