1988 Kona Cinder cone.

Had my suspicions but does looks genuine to me! Strange though, the parts are still from late 88 to late 89... Mountain LX rear mech, Exage Mountain chainset/front mech, Deore II brakes.

Someone said on another thread that some didn't have the big K like your's, so maybe there's a few out there.

There's another big K one (like the brochure below) on ebay right now so 1988/1989 Kona's aren't that rare but one's with low mounted U brakes are. Whether they came before or after I don't know?!?

Never seen another like it, having so much trouble getting original stickers, can anyone help??
Love the bike, it rides like new, i think it has been dumped in a shed for years.
sorry not selling, but would love to know what its worth.
it will have come before the seat stay mounted ones as the chain stay mounted ones where quickly fazed out due to being crap mud clearance.
