1988 Kona Cinder cone.

Has anyone seen or know of the very first cinder cone withe the u brake under the chain stays, i think it is a rare item!

Its deffo not a taiwan copy.it has the iconic splater paint job and matching project 2 forks I bought it at a car boot sale for £8.70p very filthy but well excited when i found it, i will post pictures when i can work out how to do it!

Being "Made in Taiwan" isn't a negative, a lot of nice bike frames from big manufacturers were/are made there. From what I read the very early Kona frames were made there too.

it cost me £8.70 from a car boot sale, i dont think the guy had a clue!!!
