Nope, it is too small for me, so it is waiting for my son to get taller. He has a 24" wheel Red Shred now. It should fit him in a couple of years.

Update as some more parts have arrived, so I ploughed some hours into the build this weekend.



Wheels had a refresh, hubs stripped, cleaned and greased and new black anodised nipples installed.




NOS Deore headset and Nitto stem installed.

Don't panic The uno bar is to be enamled in White yet before it goes on, anyway it's a good quality bar and weighs in at a cool 164g!

Looking great. I know the white bars are correct but I always wondered why Cannondale didn't go with black. My 89's the same.

What tyres are you going to use?

Thanks Adrian, I can only assume the white bars carry the theme of the decals through to the front of the bike maybe? I am tempted to paint the old suntour xc post in white to see how that looks?

Talking of the white theme, people will probably hate me for my tyre choice, I hope they work, I dare to be different :facepalm: , but hey if they don't look right I can always change them can't I... Anyway i have run out of inner tubes, I will get some ordered!

Oh I have ordered a set of those new alli' cable guides off Vintagecannondale in black, they look superb, as the ones I have are grey so will save them for the other frame I have waiting.

So are they modern tyres you'll be using?
