1987 Raleigh Triathlon.

I cant believe my luck a work friend turned up in work last week and gave me three bin bags full of a bike that was caked in 20 years of dust and crap.I reluctantly agreed to take it of his hands,took it home gave it a clean and there it was a 21 inch raleigh Triathlon, 531 frame and fork,Shimano 105 groupset,Weinmen wheels as true as the day they where built.Anyway two days of sourceing parts and £100 lighter I thoght I'd post a few pics,not sure weather to respray the frame or bolt the new parts on and ride.

NICE!!!.

my father has one of these . its currently out in Spain (where they have retired to). i was out there in November and we hatched a plan to bring it back to life when i'm out there for 3 weeks this july . frame is in super condition as are most of the components. just 20 yrs worth of dust, so looks to be a polish and new hoods/tape/ nuts and bolts situation which we have been sourcing over the winter will post a few pictures as we work through it ..
