1987 Marlboro Claud Butler Majestic 2 tandem FINISHED pg13

@Woz you got me thinking... these units have two positions for the return spring “SLR” & “Normal”. I thought it was worth a punt... CCAAFCC5-B630-40C5-9C63-F2C170151C97.jpeg

"Symmetry is one of the ideas by which man through the ages has tried to comprehend and create order, beauty, and perfection."

I guess it works a bit smoother too ;)

You've surpassed even yourself Peachy. Lovely machine, superb build and a very interesting read.

Now I've got an old tandem frame of indeterminate heritage and some tandem specific bits in the garage that I've been threatening to do something with for years but I'm not sure if your thread has enthused or scared me silly.

Had a nice little pootle about today, just shy of 30miles with a couple of short stops to enjoy the views from a couple of pub gardens… managed 48.1mph on one down hill section… @Our Jimmy had his eyes closed during that I think 🤣🤣 4ADE154D-77A7-42F1-9927-142FA7175CF4.png 9360475F-7F46-4307-91CD-76C9B9D178FF.jpeg

48.1mph! That's insane! Wow!
Good job guys!
@Our Jimmy lifted his head up out of our "aero tuck  " and it nearly took his lid off! (he then got a stern talking too about not correctly fasting it in the first place)

PS it was very steep with a following wind...
