1987 American Breezer

I opt to black out the cockpit. Black Arabesque 600 headset is especially cool.
I'm able to polish up the front brakes, and refurbish the M730 levers. These would be the only original parts to stay with the bike.

And finally the finished product. Standard XT build with racer boy road bike upgrades (Dura Ace wheelset, 600 RD and Headset).
IRD post, Turbo saddle, and Salsa bars round out the package. The only non period parts are the Koolstop pads.
The end result is a very functional, reliable American Breezer.

As I always say, I don't believe in garage queens. This bike spent its life as a rider and continues to be one.

24P, you're thinking of the Montaneus from about 85 with the adjustable headtube.
This bike is a Breezer. Geometry and design by Joe Breeze, weld work by American.
