You could of course refinish it with Hinault decals. These are available from cyclomondo. all the TVT bikes appear to have that red panel on the seat tube whether finished with look decals or hinault decals

The silver color was for the steel frames.

The TVT carbon team bikes were different with more exposed carbon and colored panels.. Lots of photos on the net of them. Example attached (the 87 bikes were the same as the 86 ones).

Check back issues of Winning for some good images.

Repop decals sets out there as well.

The '86 LVC 753 bike was pearlescent white with multi coloured panels,
with chrome fork, right hand chainstay and rear dropouts.The '85 LVC 753 bike had a metallic silver frame with chrome fork, right hand chainstay and rear dropouts.

What you are think about this coulour for the frame set ? it's 750 Grigio Alloy Metallic

It was SILVER!

Here - some samples of the LOOK-TVT - I think they used a pearlescent silver ... with a light blue tint eventually

Here's my own La Vie Claire TVT replica and the pearlescent silver that Brian Rourke did for me. The blue tinge argument might rage forever depending on your eyes and your beliefs, but for me the evidence is overwhelming hence my choice of silver for my current build..

I honestly think that if anyone got their TVT sprayed with a blue tint through it, they would instantly regret it. Silver looks spot on!

I'll get photos posted on another thread when it's finished - it's not fair that we've kinda hijacked Chris's thread on his own stunning LVC TVT!!
