This is my first complete restoration project, although I've been taking tools to bikes for as long as I could ride one.
The bike was in a bit of state when I bought it, so it's had a strip and colour matched respray, replacement headset, BB, chainrings, freewheel, cables, pads, saddle, tyres, head badge and lever hoods as well as a full set of Raleigh and Reynolds decals. The pedals are late 80s Shimano toe clips that I've had from new. I've learnt a lot about obscure components and assembled a pretty good set of tools, some like the headset press are home made. I'm not 100% happy with the bar tape, it looks a little modern, but it will be comfortable and I didn't set out to build a concours example.
How I bought it (with my Mavic tubs on as the original wheel bearings were badly adjusted and very dirty)
Ready to ride.
I found MrW's thread really helpful for reference, thank you!

If anyone is restoring one of these or very similar, I'll gladly share my parts list and specs
