It's great to see this bike turned out so well, it looks fantastic.

Does it have large wheels, or is that quite a short wheelbase?
 
Actually it could just be the length of the head tube giving the appearance of being short...

The wheels are Mavic box-section eyeletted 650B and the tyres are big! Rim diameter is 584 mm. See 650B website for some interesting stuff on the 650B wheelsize.

My feet can't touch the ground when I sit on it - by a long way!

The wheelbase is short too so the ride is responsive and it sticks to the road or track.
